Almost all of the vocals have been tracked at this point, leaving only 2 songs left. So my goal is to try and get one song done a week, and from there I’ll spend the remaining time thinking about any vocal harmonies and guitar solos to add, if any. So it’s close. I know I’ve missed tons of deadlines on this record already, but Mannequin City doesn’t pay the bills unfortunately, so if something has to get pushed to the side it’s this project. Sigh.

Now I actually need to start thinking about album art/photography, mixing, and mastering. These are all costly things. I’ll probably be setting up a Kickstarter page in a couple weeks, which hopefully will subsidize this whole process. AND then there’s the little detail about manufacturing and distribution. Yikes. Any labels/backers feel like funding a slacker? Don’t all raise your hand at the same time now.
